Welcome to the Field Blog from the Frontline

This site has been a long time coming. For years, I’ve lived at the intersection of crisis and code — helping lead citizen-powered movements, building software to coordinate disaster relief, and speaking out on national stages about the power of ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Now, at RobGaudet.Blog, I’m bringing it all here — raw, real, and unfiltered. This blog will be a front-row seat to what I’ve seen and what I’m building: Stories from the frontlines of natural disasters and the quiet moments in between. Frameworks for building platforms, movements, and media that scale impact. Reflections on code, faith, leadership, and legacy — from someone who’s made plenty of mistakes and kept going. If you care about technology with a soul, citizen-led change, or what it takes to lead when the stakes are highest, you’ll find something here. This isn’t just a blog — it’s a dispatch from the edge, where code meets compassion, and action becomes movement. Let’s build something that lasts.
